    Help needed please

    I have a MD (latest OS) and a MC from the first batch
    Due to work, moving house etc, I've just hooked them up together and.....nothing!
    I loaded the latest Monster firmwre and still nothing

    I've read through this forum and found out how the MD should be set up
    I also found here that if I hold down the top Left button at switch on I can change settings here.
    Reading through the supplied MC manual I couldn't find this info. You guys seemed to jump right in, Do I have some pages missing?

    Anyway back to the Wesen Live patch, when I try to resample, the R1 Cue2 jumps to 127 at the start of every 2 bars??? and I'm getting loads of nasty feedback. Whats going on?

    Please help, what am I doing wrong?

    Now trying the Euclid from Monster firmware and still I get nothing

    I followed Wesen from his video, exactly, and MC will not see any patch as melodic, even ROM20
    Do I have a defective MC?

    Can someone please tell me exactly what settings I should have on both machines to get a result

    I'm getting EXTREMLY frustrated

    try to read the dosumentaction on the patch manager, and use the same global settings, maybe it could help. If every cable is in the right place it should work.

    thats whats so frustrating

    after I found how the MD and MC should be set after reading through this forum, I thought it was all go from there, but no

    I've tried different (known working) cables but still no joy

    I'm starting to think I've got a dud one

    hi tenchi, sorry for the late reply. this sounds weird, do you get the message on the minicommand that it is recognizing the correct kit? If that's the case, at least the midi cabling is working alright. what OS version of the Machinedrum do you have?

    it could be that the new version updated the sysex messages, I haven't yet upgraded my machinedrum. Also if you have an older version (< 1.50), then very weird stuff will happen, I haven't added "tests" to recognize that yet. That could be the solution though.

    also if you have frustrating/urgent questions, email me them please, I'm a bit over-busy lately and sometimes forget to check the forums (sorry!). we're working on getting more people on board to take care of the support.
